Planning a trip while attending our wedding? We've place some recommendations based on our own travel journeys done in the past 5 years together. Katie's first time in France was with Antoine and he showed her the most magical spots France has to offer!

Paris (3-5 days)

What to see :

  • The restaurant/bar Le Très Particulier where Antoine proposed to Katie

Normandy (4-7 days)

Best way to visit from Paris:

  • Rent a car in or around Paris

  • Normandy is a 2h drive from Paris

What to see :

  • Etretat

  • Fécamp (Palais Bénédictine)

  • Honfleur

  • Mont Saint-Michel

  • Saint-Malo

  • World War 2 history​

What we liked about Normandy :

  • The beautiful coastline

  • The Mont Saint-Michel itself is worth visiting

  • The forteress of Saint-Malo

  • The bénédictine drink

Our favorite place :

  • Spending a night at the Mont Saint-Michel. The whole place becomes empty, the peacefulness in this magical place is a night to remember. A true medieval wonderland.

Brittany (10-16 days)

Best way to visit from Paris:

  • Rent a car in or around Paris

  • Brittany is a 4h30 drive from Paris

What to see :

  • Vannes

  • Golf du Morbihan

  • Rochefort-en-Terre

  • Belle-île-en-mer

  • Perros-Guirec

  • Île de Bréhat

What we liked about Brittany :

  • The blue sea water

  • The medieval architecture

  • The pink rocks near Perros-Guirec

  • The butter biscuits

  • Biking around the island of Belle-île-en-mer

Our favorite place :

  • The quiet island of Bréhat walking through the little town without any cars puts you back in time

Alsace (4-7 days)

Best way to visit from Paris:

  • Take a high speed train from Paris to Strasbourg (3h)

  • Rent a car in Strasbourg to be able to visit some villages

What to see :

  • Strasbourg (old city)

  • Colmar

  • Riquewihr

  • Kaysersberg

  • Haut-Koenigsbourg castle

  • Vineyards

What we liked about Alsace :

  • The beautiful small villages

  • The architecture

  • The flowers

  • The flammekueche

Our favorite place :

  • Colmar city by itself with all the canals is such a gem

(6-9 days)

Best way to visit from Paris:

  • Take a high speed train from Paris to Aix-en-Provence (3h30)

  • Rent a car in Aix-en-Provence

What to see :

  • Aix-en-Provence

  • Moustiers Sainte-Marie

  • Kayaking in the Gorges du Verdon

  • Saint-Paul de Vence

  • Lavender fields

  • Nice

What we liked about South of France :

  • The nice weather

  • The multicolor villages

  • Seeing the Gorges du Verdon while kayaking in the blue water

Our favorite place :

  • Staying inside the city of Saint-Paul de Vence to experience the relaxing evenings in the city without tourists

Annecy - French Alps
(4-6 days)

Best way to visit from Paris:

  • Take a high speed train from Paris to Annecy (4h)

  • The city is all walkable

What to see:

  • Annecy (old city)

  • Biking around the lake

  • Hikes in the mountains to have viewpoints on the lake

  • Château de Menthon Saint-Bernard

  • The nature around the city

  • The hikes, biking activities

Our favorite place :

  • The Palace of Menthon hôtel is a must stay. The breakfast view on the lake is incredible
